gets all the sponsor money from the ARRRRRMYYYYYYYY,
NHRA drivers to return to Germany on USO tour to visit American troops
Five goodwill ambassadors from the NHRA will once again take part in a USO-sponsored trip to Germany to visit wounded American troops and Air Force/Army personnel stationed at the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC). Six-time NHRA Pro Stock champion Warren Johnson, two-time NHRA Pro Stock champion Jim Yates, Top Fuel drivers Melanie Troxel and Cory McClenathan, and Funny Car driver Tommy Johnson Jr. will represent NHRA during a post-Thanksgiving support mission to the KMC and the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC).

No offence intended here, but I'm sure more people than the USO organization decides who goes and who doesn't.
GM is a sponsor of this trip. 3 of the 5 people race GM bodied race cars.
It would be great if "The Sarge" was going.
I'm just thankful that some NHRA drivers are going over there to support our troops.
    God Bless The USA

Don't get bent out of shape-the Sarge and Angelle and Antron do lots of stuff with the Army away from the race track. Actually, I think it's great that more than just the army sponsored racers are going abroad to visit the troops. Congrats and thanks to GM for putting this deal together and thanks to the racers for doing this again. Look at who is going-didn't you always think those guys were pretty classy to begin with?

I agree with Dave, and there is another gal out here ( from San Antonio) Tina Stull that does a LOT of USO stuff that doesn't get publicized because of what class she runs (S/C)
We're going to be joining her with some upcoming appearances as well. Should be good times and additional thanks to our troops for what they are doing for us.
