U.S. Nationals TV coverage was great but . . . .

. . . . instead of so many interviews and reviews of this and that why not show the alcohol classes? It would have made the show MUCH better!

I doubt we will ever see the coverage of years gone by (Diamond P and TNN) but it would have been great if espn would have shown the semi finals and finals of TAD, TAFC and Pro Mod.

Just my opinion.

 

Could not agree more... I took them 2 hours to show the first round of the pros today when it normally takes them an hour... I had hopes going into today to see at least the semis and finals of all the sportsman classes but once I saw how long it took them to show the first round of the pros I knew it was a lost cause...

 

I have many old tapes but I have full weekend coverage of 97 and 98 nationals and they shown all the finals of the sportsman classes.I was hoping they would show them today guess not thoughI loved the emotion today though reminded me of old times!

 

No doubt! Aside from the fact that I had hoped to see some sportsman coverage as we use to back in the 90's, I thought today's broadcast was the best in several years.

How many times do they need to have the racers tell us "how great is Indy" and what does indy mean to you. They spend way too much time on all the hoopla and not enough on showing the racing. How about all the junk on the screen, them talking over the next pair, the running crap at the top and bottom telling you nothing, just a distraction to trying to watch the cars. My vote, turn all the graphics off except the tree and lets watch the cars.
