I am stepping up my program and building a turbo Brad 8x engine for a outlaw 10.5 car and would like some advice on a few parts .

    I will be a 4.4675 bore with 4.5 stroke crank ,+.100 deck ,1" lifter bore , and a 55mm cam .

Rossler TH210 XHD transmission , twin promod 88mm turbos , Bigstuff3 ECU on methanol .

Who would be the guy that can source me a cam ? what lifters ?

Does anyone have a cylinder head flow charts ? even a Brad 6 would help ?

I would like to go with the T&D individual rockers . What is their track record, good or bad ?

I talked to BAE and they were confident on getting me a cam from Bullet that will work, that's leaves the rocker question .

Here is the car , a little help guys .

Its been a best 6.69 for ET and 213 .88 MPH at 3000 pounds with the wedge

    rocker

I have TD on my BAE screw combo. They look good and oil a lot better than most.
No special procedures to avoid burned pushrods.
I was warned the ex rocker can break. Maybe they make steel setup?
See what you think of their tech support. I wasn't overly impressed.
I got good help from Mick Snyder. Janis and Camp Stanley run TD also.

If you are trying to be helpful then you failed miserably . Based on looks this car should not have a hemi in it either ,its been 3.99 ,198mph . This car will go in the 5's this year ( 6.10 lifting at the 1000' mark) . 10.5 cars are commonly built stronger than promod cars. The top double rail on my car is 1.625" X.083" whats yours ?

Graham, wow, was that your car in that video? If so did you figure out why the back wheels lifted off the track? I know that feeling about "it will never happen to me (or us)"

yes mike that was me got pretty broken up hurts like hell, haha Adam and myself have been swapping injury storys and share a common desire to get back..
    thanks for the concerne a
as for the car lifting it was caused by the car drifting out of the groove and I tried too hard to get it back...front left dipped and the opposite rear came up..

I think a front anti roll bar will help that and that car was short on downforce on the rear..worked ok with the blower but with the turbo deal it was getting perty light on the back
when you look at the decks/spill plates on the most consistant and fastest nhra turbo cars it seems that's the way to go...

why you showing video of dave hances car im talking that I see a car in your picture with no funny car cage and not enough driver protection ie no helmet padding, ect im not talking about outlaw 10.5 cars im talking about what I see..if the stuff is there but I cant see it I appologise

ok I got a high res pic and I can see that the pics you posted don't do it justice and some of the stuff is there

    sorry

the 8 x heads are different to any others if you start with them you will never be able to fit another bae head or nre or anything else ,as you will be putting a big restriction in the exhaust whatever flow benefits you get from te 8x's will count for nothing I like the nre stuff and the bae8s are just as good as the 8x's and unless you have a limitless budget theres no point ,

we got a good cam from comp cams they will make what you want,

lifters is one area I wont skimp on ....jessel....lifter failures are expensive

if your using a bs3 you will need a grid for the ignition the bs3 ignition is crude by comparison and has software glitches and some pain in the ass features

A little update on the build .

Had to cut the front end off and start new , trying to make a racer friendly setup with tubes that are not in the way .

Doing the sheet metal rear end with a floater mock up , does the ultra case have the same yoke distance as the standard 9" case . ( for drive shaft length )

The turbo out exhaust turns and tucks under the charge tube and beside the header ,then dumps out in the same spot as it did before .

Intake manifold charge tubes come in at the back of the engine , Hogans says manifold ships Tuesday .

Still need valve train just looking through the classifieds for the right deal to come along , like to buy new but things are adding up fast !!

    Some pictures for ya.
