A tough weekend at Tenacity Racing’s home event

Slave Lake Alberta’s Trevor Lebsack did not have the 2008 debut they were hoping for. The new Camaro looked as good on the track as any race car out there, and it gathered the Best appearing car award at the Rocky Mountain Nationals. Unfortunately, the best appearing awards does not give you a pass into eliminations. Trevor fell short of the 6.07 bump spot, and wound up in the #12 spot. The race was hampered by weather and only three qualifying attempts were made, and in all three the team suffered from the new car blues. “The track was quite tricky to manage, but we still though we would get in the field. Unfortunately mechanical issues plagued us on every attempt”. All the short numbers were good, but from the 400 foot mark on, the car laboured the rest of the way.

We are doing all the tuning on the car, but the issues all seemed to be parts failure.

We will regroup and attend the Lucas Oil National Event the end of July, and then see how many races we attend before the end of the season.
Trevor and wife Kristi would like to thank their crew and sponsors for their continued supports and they include Direct Current, PIC, Max Fuel Distributor, Above and Beyond Compression Inc, Martin Yatzko Graphics, Talmek Compression Services and Bull Dog Protective Coatings. The crew includes Serge Dion, Doug Smith, Steve Dyck and Reid Johnson.
