I am currently running a powerglide behind a blown alcohol 540 making around 1500 hp, just purchased a 526 new century and going to be moving power levels up to hopefully as high as 2000 hp. My question is do i continue with the power glides and purchase a spare or do i invest in a bruno/lenco set up? any thoughts would be appreciated. I am sure there are many variables to this question but i am just looking for the most reliable way to go if there is such a thing.
    Thanks
    Simon

Rossler turboglide ( two speed th400) Will handle way over 3000 hp
and the Th 210 ( three speed TH 400 ) will also handle that,
so will a lenco/Bruno, lenco drive. B&J, quick drive, ect ect
id have thought a glide could be uprated to take 2000
the next easiest was is probably Bruno/ CS1 because of the used units for sale and ease of changing the ratios ect,
the rossler deal is expensive and unless your realy pushing the performance to the limit a little bit unnessacary

    all IMO

    Powerglide

Ive run a glide for years. Make about 2000+ in a 2700lb door car. JW case, billet everything, Coan input shaft (turbo), and a billet front pump with about 285 to 295 pressure. IMO a glide is just so much easier to deal with. I have alot of friends that run the Bruno,B&J,LencoDrive etc.... They sure seem to work on theirs ALOT more than I do. Good Luck

In the Top Dragster I crew chief on we have run 6.20s on a Sid Niels power glide with 0 problems.

I really like the B@J with a Quickdrive unit, its very similar to a Bruno/Lenco.
I trust one behind a 2600+hp blown hemi in my funny car.

    Hope this helps some.
