    SC trailer tag

sorry to have to tell the truth - but - SC doesn't require a tag if you only use the trailer within the state ot SC - I can speak from experience - got a ticket in New York State for no tag on my trailer - they said i had to apply the NY laws and the SC no tag laws don't count - had to hire a New York lawyer to represent me - time i got thru spent $300.00 for lawyer and paid $150.00 for ticket. I now have a permanent SC tag (forever no expiration date) for $86.00 and i don't have to pay yearly taxes on it. Now thats the best deal but it cost me $$$ to find out. andy b.
