traction

    by tilting your rearend down with the pinion going down on a slight angle will you get more traction or is this just a rumor

    I don't believe it does. The main thing you want is for the pinion angle to be zero degrees on acceleration for max power transfer and ujoint life. If it does change traction then I would be open to hearing how.

    It does add traction to a degree, it works well if you car spikes the tire at gear change and pinion and watch what happens to your ds, no more spike.

    Elaborate please? Seeking it a zero versus -1 or -2 degrees ?

    -1 or 2 at rest will be zero under a load going down the track in a perfect world
