Sorry Mitch but check out the number of quality cars, and the qualifing et's at the div. 4 events.
It seems that this div. always attracts a large number of out of div. racers. Such as Mitch M., Randy M, Henges, Tim Rudy, and on & on. Not to mention Ashley Force, and D. Hitchman who are claiming this div. plus other cars like Shelly Howard, Gene Snow, Calaway, and others that are capable of running 5.50 or better. Let the record speak !!!
This is all in good fun so don't take it to seriously.

Div's 3, 4, and 6 for dragster are easily the toughest. For overall quantity 3 probably takes the title, For more potential 5.50 and better runners, 4 takes it, and for more top 15 national performers div 6 easily takes it and has had that moniker for the last 4 or 5 years. It will continue this year as well. For funny car anyone saying Division 7 isn't the toughest in all categories has not been paying attention for over a decade. More cars, more quality cars and more top 15 finishers. A couple from Div 7 are making it a point of staying away. Jerry Darien said it best the last couple years he raced here, "if you come out od Div. 6 with a win it is like winning a national event. One of the top Div 7 teams decided to forgo coming to a div 6 race this year particularly because it probably would not have helped his national aspirations in the end (meaning he thought his chances would be better spent at another out of division event instead of 6)
Wow, I agree with Mitch on something, who would a thunk it? ;) [IMG]

damn, mike, glad we run div 2 huh.

you look at any division and you're going to have to run through some tough cars to get the win. i know most other divisions have 2 beat on car counts, but last year d2 tad was one of the toughest. gunderson, kelly, haley, bartone, us and others were no push overs.

    sorry, just had to represent...LOL

FC, i'd have to say its a dead heat b/t 1 & 7. manzo, newb, gill and sickles is a tall order. gordon, taylor, woz, august, williamson and others out west is pretty stout too.
