Torrence Racing and Conway Automotive Part Ways

Torrence, who entered the driver's seat of Conway's A/Fuel dragster
program in the middle of the 2005 season, was given a letter last Friday after
arriving at the Lucas Oil South Central division event in Rusk, Texas.

The letter stated that it would be best if, effective immediately, the two
parties went their separate ways.

Lee Callaway stepped in to fill the seat for Conway, however, the event
was postponed until July 1st.

The sponsorship of Knoll Gas Motorsports, whose brands, SKULL Gear and
TORCO Racing Fuels graced the side of the dragster, will remain with Torrence for the remainder of the 2006 season.

Torrence, now focusing on other racing opportunities, stated that,
though it was not a mutual decision; there are no hard feelings and wishes the Conway Automotive team the best of luck.
