Top Lube

    So what top lube are most racers using that will pass NHRA fuel check? Would think some sort of synthetic product would be in order. Anyone willing to share their choice and experiences with different products? :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

    racers in tad/tafc can't run any form of top lube, it won't pass fuel check. in order to pass fuel check the fuel has to be 99% pure methanol. normal checks include specific gravity and water test to detect hydrocarbons. the fuel will not even pass if it is discolored in any way. i've heard several cases of racers failing fuel check from purple fuel jugs letting the dye go back into the fuel.

    That is what I expected, but was curious if anyone had found a lube that would pass fuel check. Thanks!
