I have found that Top Alcohol fans know the sport past the media and TV hipe. They are great group. It seems that the understand more about the teams, cars, rules and the trials and tribulations the racer face.

    Thanks
For both the racers and fans

Bob, come on down to Atlanta for the Southern Nationals. Your car looks great and I am sure you would put on a good show. We need all the cars we can get. Maybe some of your Div 1 guys can come down with you.

I also think that Alky fans are some of the best. Most of us have been around a while and even though we were first attracted to the Nitro guys, over time we started really loving the alky guys because of the great effort put forth (mostly on your own nickle) and also due to the friendliness of the crews toward the fans that come by the pits. As teenagers, I am sure that my brother and I probably over-stayed our welcome from time to time, but we were always treated great and it made us into huge fans. I still remember Herb Rodgers letting us sit in his Firebird BB/FC (and closing the body - which I thought was pretty darn cool)at the 1980 PHR Championships in Martin, MI. Thanks for the memories.

Bob..are you planning to make the D1 opener at the grove? They are allowing us to test next saturday, in between rounds of another event. We just picked our body up tonight and the PSI just came back from cert. I think we will not have enough time to test prior to the event. Everything should be together in the next week, but work is a crusher this time of year. How about the D2 event on June 4-5-6 in Ga. May be worth the travel? Let me know.
    Good Luck...Brownman.
