Tigerflow Racing's Todd Odom and Steve Burck Earn Top Honors in Houston

BAYTOWN, TX. -- With more than a thirty degree variance in track temperature from qualifying to eliminations, the Tigerflow Systems A/Fuel Team of Todd Odom performed not only career best numbers in the final round Baytown's Houston Raceway Park, but he also became the recipient of his first Wally as the pilot of his self owned A/Fuel Dragster.
This is not the first time this season that Odom's 2009 Monden Dragster has been in the winner's circle this year. Rookie A/Fuel Pilot Shayne Lawson drove the Bill Reichert tuned dragster to the winner's circle during the Gainesville Division 2 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Event.

"We really pulled together this weekend" notes Odom. "I can't thank my team enough for the dedication and hard work that we've all gone through with this brand new car to make it a contender for the 2009 drag racing season.

The A/Fuel Team of Odom and Lawson will be back together in two weeks for the NHRA Full Throttle O'Reilly Summer Nationals in Topeka, Kansas where Lawson will be piloting the car.

In Alcohol Funny Car, first time winner Steve Burck took home his first Wally for his team's weekend effort. Burck has been to several final rounds over the last year and this time came out victorious running a 5.700 at 249.76 miles per hour.

In other Tigerflow Racing news, Tommy Phillips was also in attendance at this weekends South Central Division 4 Lucas Oil Drag Race and respectively made it to the quarter finals in his Super Comp Dragster. Keith Haney had two first round exits after qualifying in the number 4 spot for the Sunset Top Sportsman Shoot out and in the number 6 position for Sunday's Eliminations.

The Tigerflow Systems A/Fuel Team would also like to thank Bill Reichert for his continuing expertise and tuning of the car in addition to very special thank you to Monroe Guest and Marvin Yoder of Tigerflow Systems for their continued support.

Tigerflow Systems, Inc., is a worldwide manufacturer of engineered packaged pumping systems. The company was founded in 1985 and provides pumping systems for the plumbing, commercial, municipal, fire protection, HVAC, heat transfer, hot water heating and landscape irrigation markets.
