Anybody had any experience with Titanium Rods on unblown alcohol motor? Do they require maintenance ie rod bolts every so often? I know they are stiffer, harder on crank? I've heard of people junking out a motor and saving the rods for the next one. I've never had a problem with the GRP Alum rods that currently use, but am curious.

I personally haven't had any experience with titanium rods but i read an article that interviewed Scott Shaferoff and basically he stated that, the titanium rods last forever but they beat up everyting on either end of them so make the choice for your self but aluminum rods are cheaper than custom pistons and good cranks ! just my opinion Bob Frigon
