What are the best Throw out Bearings out there?
I used Aetna A2256 all the time but I got many problems with those. It is used on a Blown Top Alcohol combinaton.
    What is your best experience?

    Thanks TIMO

I run that bearing and made 2 bad decisions this season.
1 I let my father tell me it's good to wash out bearings.
2 I never had a spare in my trailer. And went thru 3 of them this season. My Lenco leaks into the housing sometimes when I let my crew swap gears for me and that basically is when my new mental note of throw the bearing out after the weekend. Other than that I had one last 5 seasons and not a Problem .

The big thing I have found with any throw out bearing is if there is something that pulls it away from the clutch fingers when the clutch is engaged, or the driver is lazy. (leaves his foot on the pedal) . Basically don't let the bearing turn at engine speed down the track, its not designed for that. Let the bearing do its job and get it away from the fingers as fast as possible.

A return spring can do wonders
