I use the regular Morse style cable and have it set up as a pusher rather than a pull type. Just make sure that you have air on the back side of the piston to actuate the blades. The side of the air cylinder that the actuator comes out of has less force (piston area is less) than behind the piston. Some controllers only have one air line and only go one direction, but mine has air lines to both sides of the piston (pressure side and bleed side). Tried the pusher and puller and we like the pusher method better.....I could send a few photos if you need them....

If you have the room for it You can also run the air cyl down near the throttle pedal, i've had mine that way for 5 years now and prefer it over having it up by the injector, just have to relocate the tab on the frame that holds the morse cable.

We are wanting to use an air throttle control. Will it work with a push cable? Are you using the Dedenbear product ?
