This site is not a bash site! The only reason I let a certain thread go a few weeks ago is because I felt like the certain person threw the entire alcohol community under the bus. This site hasn't been, nor will become a site to sit around and bash people. It's about open discussion of racing issues.

Anyone that feels like they need to start bashing someone, make it a good post, because it will be your last on this site!

    anyone

i really dont want to get into publicly singling anyone out, but i want to clear the air on who prompted this - ch3no2

its one thing to sign a name and make a statement. however there's a clear difference when a statement turns to a biased slam. those type of threads have no purpose on here.

    don't get it...

    ch3no2-

i think it's pretty safe to say me and you, well alot of people and you don't see eye to eye. i respect that. having a dissenting opinion is good for the site. ideally that sparks intellegent debate and discussion.

regardless of whether you're right or wrong, to come over the top of a thread that's trying to give a guy some credit, and say 'other people deserve more credit' is just tasteless. right or wrong. lets say bill gives someone some help....they run good win a race. if people start congratulating him, are you going to get on here and say 'well the only reason he won was...' come on.

when a thread turns that direction, it's real hard for it to stay on course. i don't really fault people for taking shots at someone making a statement like that. i'm not going to let it go on, but i'm not going to fault them.

like or hate tom conway, those comments were in very poor taste.

it's real simple from here, you can drop it, and keep that kind of bs to yourself in the future(stay on the site), or get mad and quit posting, or you can keep it going and try to get the last word in, and you can bet it will be your last word on this site.

it's not just you...if someone else does the starts slamming someone, they'll be on the outs as well.

i would really like this to fade away....
