The last time Shawn Cowie jumped into a car he won the race, it was back in 2011 at the spring national event in Las Vegas. He is on a 6 round winning streak that has spanned over 2 years. Demke wants to take home the win for the second year in a row. This should be a great race.
It is Shawn Cowie!!!! They had identical reaction times, but the Cowie team had more power and he had the better car. There is not a dry eye in the house after watching Cowie return to the drivers seat to take the #1 spot and taking the win after over 2 years out of the sport. That is the comeback story of the year. Congrats to the team and the driver on the win.

    Shawn Cowie's incremental times: 60ft-0.946 sec., 330ft-2.409, 660ft-3.573/208.67 mph, 1,000ft-4.569.
    Chris Demke's incremental times: 60ft-0.939 sec., 330ft-2.431, 660ft-3.604/211.61 mph, 1,000ft-4.601.

    Shawn Cowie's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.007), 330 ft(0.022), 660ft(0.031), 1,000ft(0.032). MOV: 0.0288 seconds (approximately 11 feet).

Thanks Bob. I still can't believe it. We went down there to re-liscense and make a few runs if Shawn was doing okay. He somehow is able to work the go pedal with his fused ankle/foot and then cut a decent light against Chris to earn the win. You might be right about the prayer thing.

That's 1 hell of a way to come back!!!! Great job to Shawn and Crew. And they said he would never race again!!! hahahahahah. Way to inspire all of us Shawn. Can't wait to see you back at the top of the standings. And prayer does work. God Bless all involved.
