Jeff Lauener, a long time nostalgia racer and most recently the crew chief for my blown alcohol dragster passed away of congenital heart failure early this morning. Those of you in the northwest that knew him know what a good, tough racer he was. Yet he was a gentle, joyful soul that everyone loved to be around. He will be missed.

As soon as I know when the memorial will take place I'll post it here. There is a tribute to him on my website www.capracing.com

    condolences

Sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. He is in a better place now, no rainouts, no hot tracks, the air is always good! Prayers that God be with his family and friends as they mourn.
