    looked pretty close looking from the outside. samsel takes the top spot during friday afternoon session with a 5.41. dont know what the weather was....but it was the same everyone else ran in.

    conway and torrence seem to have a good handle on the hot weather...low et of round 1 by over a tenth.

    looks like there is hope for the a/fuelers in the heat..

    We had the air around 3200 ft on Friday afternoon at Joliet.

    The air should be considerably better this weekend at E-Town.

    I figured the A-Fuelers were toast over 80 degrees until Tom Conway/Steve Torrence proved everyone wrong!

    Bars Leak .39
    Robin .42

    Wells a bunch of .40's
    Thacker
    Perry and a couple other blown "Alcohol" cars in the .40's

    But other non blown cars struggled and must not be focused...
