With the AMS pro mod expanding to 16 races next season with IHRA level purses. It's clear NHRA's on the PM bandwagon! Even though IHRA run's their FC's as a Pro catagory, you wouldn't know it by how much they advertize the PM class. I hope I'm wrong, but it looks as though TAFC is slowly getting squeezed out!

When I pre-registered for the PMI show here in Indy, I thought the professional racing categories were interesting. In NHRA you could pick TF, FC, PS, PSB and PMOD as one of the necessary classes for admittance. Do ProMods spend more money on parts than alky? Can I get some cheese for my whine?

Where will fuel funny car drivers come from with no alcohol funny cars? Thats where most of those guys started. I always thought that the alcohol classes were very exciting and put on a hell of a show. Why do we always get pushed aside for experimental classes and anything else that comes along. Is our show not as good as it feels?
