It has been brought to my attention that the Top Alcohol Racers Association has reached a crossroads and is considering disbanding.

Do you as alcohol racers still want an organization to represent the class?

Would you support the organization more or less if a resolution was passed not to address the parity issue in TAD?

Would you still support the organization with the $250 yearly dues?

NHRA has been receptive to the organization, however, participation, especially since Shelly's passing, has been on the decline. It takes alot of time to run an organization like this, and she really kept things moving along.

TAFC participation has always been low.

I think there are those who want to see the class move forward, and I think there are those who view racing as their vacation, and don't want the hassle of having to 'rock the boat' per say.

    Sound off!

    Tara

Will, I am all for TARA but I have a problem with the $250. I don't want to be a total cheapskate but the reason I don't do drugs or gamble or even drink as much as I want is so I can spend more money on my race car. $250 will buy a bunch of oil or spark plugs.
