    Dean...

Some very nice work!...25 is tough...and no way to please everyone....

I might have included Grady Bryant somewhere in the list....a great man, and a great driver...and a great woman behind him...

that picture of Gwynn's funny car may be Ghost1 that we will retire this year...Jackie Stidham is that it???...the one you bought that we now have and raced all these years???

but once again...very nice work...ND should pick up these stories and run them and pay you accordingly for your work....

Steve is not on the list but Lou is, I think acouple more years for him and he would have been on it.Bret Williamson probably should have been on the list at least as a honorable or "Just missed, but there wasso many in that area that were so close, it comes down to, where do you end the list at. If he had of won one divisional Championship (being that winning in div seven is so tough). Or a national or two he would have made the list.

Hey Harry tell you what, do me a story up about all the guys that did'nt make the list. Since you said "once again", I imagine I left out a bunch in the TAD list as well. So you could make it a really nice big story, right.

    I'm serious about this.

We'll call it, "The one's that should have made it"

Yeah Dean.....IHRA site doesnt get updated unless you tell them to update it. We won 7 times in 2002 with 5 being consecutive. Before that he had 10 wins. 10+7=17.

Winning Division 7 shouldn't automatically put you on the list, ie Bret Williamson. We won it in 1999, but our driver didn't stick around very long. Maybe that's why he didn't make the list, although he sort of had it his way with the the number one and two on your list that year.

Funny thing is, Lou Gasparrelli told me a long time ago that people with money come and go. But the rest of us are here for the long haul (for the love of the sport). Very true.

Good luck and keep up the good work.

PS: Honorable mention for crew chief: Leland Bertrand. He has done more with a budget than any other crew chief there is. Plus, he's a great person and a good friend.

Bill. I will change it asap.

Randy, How many years have you competed in TAFC. Who was or is your toughest competitor? Division 7 TAFC has always been my favorite because of all the quality guys butting heads against each other. Man it was like a national every event. Your team's 1999 season was one the the best I have seen. Who else have you had as a driver besides Pete, or were you with another team before. Are you going to drive after the one or two races with Marc?

My statement about Brett did not mean that if you won a title you would be in for sure(or your drvier would have made it), but he has had a long FC career, Did he not start when he was a teenager in the class. Division seven for the last decade and a half or more has been untouched with regards to the quality of cars.

Try to make it to Mission, We are tentatively planning a golf tournament for the Wednesday before the event.

Ya David, that is about as cool as it gets.

Bill and I chatted via email on the lists. I did not think he would post a promo like that though. But, then again he does his part to promote the laky guys. I noticed by his story that there was no alcohol cars at Tucson. A bit of a surprise.
