First, Thank you to all the veterans that have served our Great Country, without you we might not be able to enjoy this sport we all love. Second, Maple grove raceway had the lucas oil regional race this Memorial day weekend. Promoted it locally and had a fireworks show. Offered a $25 a carload ticket to get fans in the spectator side of the track, fans were able to purchase a crossover ticket for the Pits. After 1st round of Alky cars, just before 2nd round of Alky, the storms came and washed out the event for the day. Track had to offer all fans a free ticket to the 50th anniversary show coming up. They will do double size fireworks at that show, but how much will the track loose because of this?
Bet there were at least 2500 fans in the stands.
Just saying, it may sound like the track operators are making a lot of money, but in situations like this, it is not good for racers or Track operators.

Looks like past champions Manzo and Reichert are coming Back.
