Tfx 96 oil pressure

Have 2 hemis one is a TFX 2000 block the other is TFX 96 block. Took the 2000 out to install the 96 (back up) used the same oil and oil pump, but the 2000 made 140 lb of pressure when idling and the 96 made 50 lb when idling both engines are fresh bearing and rods. any reasons the 96 would have less pressure?

 

Have you compared the orifice size of the restrictors going to the head to see if they are the same or if they are missing on the 96 block? Is there any other oil gallery plugs missing?

 

No restrictors in blocks I run them in the rockers. there was a galley plug missing next to the #1 main cap, installed plug now have 165+ lb pressure idling.

 

165 psi at idle?

Thats what i have at full throttle in my tfx 96 ?? What do you have at full htrottle 300 psi?

 

165 cold around 80 hot
