Need just a ballpark figure for some rough number crunching. What's a typical pin height for a modern fuel piston these days, from the deck to center of pin assuming a 1.156 pin? I've got some old school stuff to measure but I'm wondering where things are at today? Thanks in advance.....

Ours are 1.125 from the edge of the pin hole to the top of the piston. I guess that would make it 1.703 from the center of the pin to the top of the piston, if my math is correct.

You need to qualify what stroke , CR. you are thinking about ---- you can go from 1.550 to 1.950 ------------------- depending on stroke -----------;)

This is a fresh block/engine design. I'm currently juggling around the stroke & deck height & piston pin height. Just wondered what the stack height was like for modern TF engine pistons these days on average. If I "can" I'd like to use BME forged rods, and I found out today that they have a 7.750" length limit. Otherwise, I'd have to go for a billet plate rod, but that would be my second choice. Appreciate the input. All thoughts welcome.
