    Texas Roadhouse Joins ParkerTech Racing Services for 2007

    Milford, Michigan - Frank Parker, owner of ParkerTech Racing Services, and his driver, Marty Nothstein, have announced that Texas Roadhouse restaurants will be the primary sponsor of Parker’s 2007 National Hot Rod Association Top Alcohol Funny Car team.

    ParkerTech’s upgraded Murph McKinney chassis will be topped by a 2007 Dodge Charger body, from Mopar, and driven by Olympic and World Champion Nothstein. The Texas Roadhouse Dodge Charger Top Alcohol Funny Car will debut February 17th at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Division 2 event at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida.

    “We have worked with Marty before, so we appreciate his drive, passion and commitment, which are the reasons why we decided to become a sponsor. We are looking forward to working with Marty and the entire ParkerTech team,” said G.J. Hart, President and CEO of Texas Roadhouse.

    Parker and Nothstein are pleased to welcome new associate sponsors The Dent Wizard, Matco Tools and Redline Oil to the 2007 Texas Roadhouse Top Alcohol Funny Car team. They join returning sponsors: Aeroquip Hoses, Allstar Performance, Auto Meter, Competition Graphics, Crane Cams, Gates Belts, Hoosier Tires, Mancini Racing, Mopar Parts, Mr. Gasket, Mr. Moly, NGK Spark Plugs, Ringers Gloves, Sellars Wipers, Total Flow Products, Trick Titanium and Valco Cincinnati.

    Also returning for 2007 will be ParkerTech’s long-time crewmembers Rob Cunningham, Tom Cunningham, Tom Krebaum, Tom McVey, Nancy McVey, Tony Gulley, Brad Eldred and Jeff Eldred. Challenger Consulting will continue serving the team’s media and marketing needs.

    The first 2007 race for the Texas Roadhouse Dodge Charger will be the February 17th and 18th NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Division 2 event at Bradenton Motorsports Park, in Bradenton, Florida. Top Alcohol qualifying takes place at 3 pm and 6 pm on Saturday. Final eliminations begin at 9 am Sunday. For more information, go to www.bradentonmotorsportspark.com.
