Temperature Question

    What is the best Cylinder Head Temperature to go into the Stage?

    On a BAE V head hemi we looked for 600-650 egt temps at stage...

    We varied the head temp depending on how good the track was.

    Head temp of 180-200 doesn't seem to matter unless you are lean on the barrel and /or can't get bite on the starting line.
