    Team Patron moving forward

Baytown, TX (April 7, 2010) – With two divisional races and one national event already in the books, the Patron Team is adjusting to their off-season changes and have continued to move forward testing their new combination. “We have just completed testing a couple of new pieces that we wanted to try after Gainesville” said driver Alexis De Joria, “Our Tequila Patron Mustang has continued to improve in performance, we are now looking to gain our consistency back that we had late last year”. “The Patron Team has worked non-stop since Gainesville in preparation for this weekend’s O’Reilly Spring Nationals and we look to roll into Houston with a winning combination”.

Not one to over estimate their abilities, De Joria and the Patron Team feel confident that they can unload their Mustang and be competitive throughout qualifying and continue to go rounds on race day. “We felt really good with the cars performance after Gainesville, and after testing this week, we have found some additional power that we believe will help us leave Houston with some more Lucas Oil points to help us stay solidly in the Top 10 and hopefully move into the Top 5”. “It’s been our goal to improve our points position at each race and the team has done a great job this year of keeping us competitive De Joria said, now its up to me to start turning on the win lights”.

De Joria and the Patron Team have continued to be a crowd favorite at the NHRA events. With one of the hottest looking Mustangs at the track and her “LA Woman” attitude, De Joria is growing her fan base every week both on and off the track.
