    Hello all,

Just was wondering what kind of dry-sump oil pumps people are using in their TAFC's, we ran a wet sump in the dragster, so we have to order one pretty quick as our season starts in May. Any suggestions and info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

We are going to a dry sump in our car. From what we have gathered call Rob acheson on the pump and he will supply the pump and fittings you will need to install the pump.Trevor has his number call Trevor at 1.780.849.6844. then if you want the priority valve train oiling manifold to lessen the chance of valve train failure call John Evanchuk or Shawn Brown at acceleration enterprises to set up this option. For the tank you will need to build your own to suit the car. I'm sure your dad has built some previously and will make you a wicked piece. The oil pan is up to you but a thought is to use your wet sump pan to lessen the chance of oil piling up in the pan and robbing horse power(hey it all counts right?)Make sure you baffle the return to the tank to lessen aeration of the oil, This is some of the stuff we have learned while trying to make an informed choice on our unit.JDD

The car already has a dry sump tank...pretty much the only thing we need is the pump, just wanted to see what people were using (brands, models, etc).

    Thanks for the info,
