TAD Points

I haven't ever been in a points chase so I don't know much about them but how close is Chris Demke to overtaking Bill Reichert? I was trying to figure it out and as near as I can come up with it looks like Chris is 10 points behind at this point with the win at LV LODRS? I looked at Chris' point totals and some of the events points are in red and the legend at the bottom says those points don't count? Why not?

5/5 best out of 8/8 , 850 (425/425) would be a perfect season. Demke (7/8)needs to improve one of his two national event second round losses (43) to at least a runner up (54) and earn 11 more points to pass Reicherts 754 points with 755, Reichert is out of races to claim points at and can only block.
