TAD Pilot Chris Demke Looking to Finalize Second Place in Division 7

LAS VEGAS - Veteran Top Alcohol Dragster driver Chris Demke is looking forward to racing this weekend in the final race of the Magnificent Seven Pacific Division Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Events in Las Vegas. Demke and his Peen Rite Team are currently sitting in second place in a division that has had nineteen cars in competition during the 2008 Racing Season.

The Peen Rite Team is hoping to remain in second place as they have Duane Shields only 42 points behind them going into this last Division 7 Race of the year.

"We made it to the semi finals in Noble, Oklahoma a few weeks ago" notes Demke. "We have some points that we can make up and hopefully we will not only lock in our second place finish within our division, but add to our National points as well".

The Peen Rite Alcohol Dragster Team, led by Jerry Maddern, currently sits in the 15th position Nationally and they still have one more race to claim for full point accumulation going into the final race of the year at Pomona.

The final Lucas Oil Racing Series event of the season for Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car qualifying begins on Friday, November 7th at 4 p.m. Qualifying resumes on Saturday with two qualifying passes at 1:00 and 4:30 p.m. Final Eliminations will begin on Sunday, with Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car running first round at noon.
