TAD crash in Vegas

    Looks like maybe it was shot in 2002 by looking at the Photobucket ID on top of the pic ??

    I am sure it had to happen yesterday. This car was out there at the track testing this weekend during the race they had. It was in one piece around noon when we left the track so it was sometime yesterday afternoon.

    From what I hear it was a new driver on his first license pass, I don't know if he backed into the stage beams and forgot it was in reverse or gunned it backing up and lost control.

    Mainly, just Thank God nobody got hurt.

    Story I heard, lic pass...did the burn out and backed up to starting line. Blimped the throttle while still in reverse and the picture shows the result.

    Unfortunate for sure .

    Unfortunate indeed.
    Interesting though, that the furthest part of the car (the wing), that would hit first, looks relatively good, but the front wheels are all screwy, and the motor just 'falls' out?
    Hmmm...must be more to this.

    One of the front wing struts is also bent nearly in half....
