Two races run - 1 national and 1 divisional.

Any thoughts on which combination, if any, has the upper hand in the fight for the VALUABLE Powerade Points Championship?

The blown cars look like they have worked hard over the winter... Not sure but, the A-fuel cars might have taken it easy.

This weekend should be a good barometer of the parity in TAD.

    Houston - mid 60's w/ chance of r***

Chandler - mid 80's and sunny

Reichert's .26 might have answered the question.

Bill's .26 was in a friggin mine shaft. The extra Lbs are killing the a/f guys in phoenix. Each car will have a slight advantage in each given condition. Pick your events wisely boys and girls. What was it i was saying last year about racing in over 85 to 90 degree weather.........kinda makes you want to say Hummmmmmmmmmm!

Mitch, first off Congrads on Pomona, sorry to hear about your friend! Second, why is the heat such a Disadvantage for the Fuel cars. And Not the blown cars?

    Thanks,
Its really pretty simple. They have a great big air pump on top of the motor and were natually asperated. We run twice the volume of fuel that they do so when its hot and the air goes to shit we have to pull back the gallons and the results are evedent at Phoenix.Drop holes or make no power its your choice. We probably have one of the best a/fuel hot weather set ups as we won Woodburn last year in 88 to 91 degree weather but we have to completly change our set up which can cause problems when you try to go back to your normal deal. As i said choose your events wisely boys and girls!
