Hey Bob......Our ride is getting assembled in the shop as we speak. Still need some odds and alot of ends. The reference to Gainsville was to learn along side Tate Branch and his crew. ( How many top shelf Teams would do that for someone like us?) As they were unable to make gainsville, we are going to meet with them at the Div races in Memphis, March 26-28th. Looking forward to meeting the Teams and learning alot from Tate and his gang. For us this is a rare opportunity to work with a proven winner and learn as much as he is willing to share. A class guy, to say the least. Brownman :D

    Good move.

Might want to consider really paying attention to the little things ie.

    Procedures:
    Who fuels the car?
    Who starts the car?
    Who does the timing?
Who tells the driver what to do when warming-up?
    Who packs the chutes?
Who backs the car up after the burn out?
    Who is in charge?
Is it worth having a check list?
    Who does the tire pressure?
    etc.

    good luck

Being the FNG means that there are no little things! Hawley covered alot with us regarding the saftey issues in this sport. I'm thinking that Tate will school us on the actual workings of not only the car but the crew itself. With our limited exposure to this level of racing I was very surprised at how complicated it is to get down the 1320, let alone win a round. The good side is that we feel no pressue to perform at a high level in our first year. WE want to run safe and hard, in that order. I'm sure I will owe alot of thanks to my fellow competitors, and from where I stand there are no shortage appreciation for those who have given so freely of thier time to help us. WE have the best hardware we could afford but that alone won't get the job done. I had the chance to watch a rookie TA/FC team start the car at the line and even I could tell that they were not organized and looked like the "Monkey with the football". I'm sure we will have our turn also, but we want to keep it as professional as possible , for all of our benefits! Thanks again.....Brownman and Crew :D
