    Hi all. Thought that I might post this for my local track. There may be some cars that want to do some index racing and he has a good program put together.

    $50 entry fee if received by August 16th. $75 if not received. Entry fee includes car, driver, and four crew members.

    Date is Labor Day weekend
    Location is Albuquerque New Mexico

    Supercharged Outlaw Series

    SOS will qualify 8 cars:

    All cars must be front engine and blown:
    Maximum wheel base is 150 inch

    Pay out: $1500.00 to win
    $ 900.00 runner-up
    $ 600.00 2nd rd loser
    $ 300.00 1st rd loser
    $ 100.00 #9 and #10 qualifier
    ______________________
    $5000.00 Total Purse

    SOS will pay $100 tow money to any team who’s location is more than 400 miles from Albuquerque.

    SOS will follow the guidelines set by the NHRA 2004 rule book for Advanced ET.

    If your car runs a screw blower you must meet the TAFC/TAD guidelines.

    ALL CARS WILL RUN ON A 6.80 INDEX

    Performance clause of 7.50 will be in effect. To receive any pay out money your car must run quicker than 7.51. (special circumstances will be reviewed)

    All cars must run blowers.

    All cars must make both qualifying passes. (special circumstances will be reviewed)
    Must stage under power to receive round money. If your car can not stage under power you will not receive round money.

    If a car wins a round but breaks and can not make the call for next round, the quickest loser from the previous round will replace the broken car. The alternate car will split the round money with the broken car.

    Deep staging is allowed.

    Use of Rev limiters or shift lights allowed.

    Trans brakes allowed.

    Electronic throttle stops, shift timers, delay boxes, ect., ect, NOT ALLOWED.

    All cars must be painted.

    Diapers are mandatory. Diapers do not have to be SFI certified.

    Teams will be required to wear shirts of matching colors on the starting line. Examples: Uniform style shirts, team themed shirt, all blue, all black, all red, ect., ect.,…NO WHITE OR GREY T-SHIRTS!!! All I am asking for is that your team look professional.

    Must bring an oil container for the purpose of removing your own oil. The track is located on New Mexico State owned land and oil is not allowed to be discarded. You will be checked for your container at tech inspection. Wal-Mart has a good selection of plastic containers for a reasonable price.

    There will be a MANDATORY drivers meeting before Saturday qualifying and Sunday eliminations. You will be given the time of the meeting when your car is inspected.

    Thanks
    Lawren

    We decided to do a Chicago style match race instead. We had six cars attend. The track was a little tricky on Saturday. Sunday was a lot better and the teams stepped up nicely.

    Tate Branch was the bad ass of the weekend and took away the track record from me. He ran a 6.42 and a 6.40 at 226 mph.

    Shawn was the second quickest car with a 6.66 and 6.71 at 227 mph.

    Robert Keninwisher, Joe Percoco, and Kyle Green ran in the 6's as well. Charles Mc Laws brought out a new car (new to him but was Bruce Mullins old car) and ran some 7.0's. We all had a good time.

    I have a rear engined car but I am thinking about building a front engined dragster for some match racing and circuit racing. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio area. Are there any races close to home for next year in 2005?

    Thanks
