Stipping paint

Best way to stip paint from a carbon f/c body ?
Can you use paint stripper on carbon ?

 

How many layers of paint and yes you can. You take and cover the door in stripper cover it with plastic and in about 1-2 hours remove and use spreader to remove paint. Not putty knife unless your ready for problems. Then depending on how many layers are left do it agiain but stop before the gel coat. Then take and use a da sander with 120 grit cut down the high spot left from paint and then use 180 to finish removing down to gel coat. Wash with water before you start sanding. Then your ready to prime or seal the parts again. Tada!!

 

Try a razor blade. Not kidding. We did it. Vacuumed up all the chips and weighed them. It was 8 pounds of paint.
