    Starting line w/convertor

For what's its worth - we run blown hemi in a dragster, with B&J three speed w/chance bolt together convertor. Launch control is w/air cylinder at the pedal, set at 4500 rpm. Push the t-brake, put your foot on the floor, release the t-brake and your at wot. 60' usually .98 - 1.0

Use both.... the two step will hold the RPM'S perfect at ..say...4000rpms. The air throttle....have it set at appox. 4200 RPM'S. Now you can close or open the blades more or less while on the two step. The RPM'S will stay the same. This will allow you to control how much boost is made on the two-step. Blades closed more...less boost. Blades open more.... more boost. It works... I've done it.

Not sure of EGT temp's...need to look. But it's not high...that much I know. I've been as quick as .9056 in the 60ft with an avg. of .930's and .940's. I open my blades on the air throttle alot...it would probably rev to 9000 if it were'nt for the two step. I'd say I open them about a half inch or so, you need to get some good boost at the hit, I shoot for no less than 25 psi at the t-brake release.
