Stainless O-ring wire

    What type of wire are you guys using for stainless O-Ring wire in the head to help seal the combustion chamber? Where is a good place to buy? Thanks in advance.

    .051 wire we use safty wire..Dave

    We have always used the .041" stainless wire that Clark Copper Head Gasket sells.

    Other places sell it too, I think Good Vibrations and RBS.

    Is anyone using continous loops (no splices), kind of like a fire ring on a diesel?

    at .041 you must not have a very deep (r) groove.dave

    thanks guys, .051 safety wire seems to be the general consensus from the people that I talked to.
