SSI tube stripping

    Has anyone tried to not screw the teflon tube stripping into an SSI blower. I'm a little worried that the screws will loosen. Shouldent strip stay without screws.

    The strips will move forward , because the way the rotors turn it starts pushing the Teflon from the rear forward , the Teflon against the screws holds it in place, DO NOT use loctite

    Thank you Andy. No loctite scares me even more.:eek: Som special tightening torque on those small screws

    Be sure you use Torx screws as well, some builders install countersunk allens and they're really hard to take back out afterwards with that small of a allen wrench. We have also run lock nuts on the inside if we felt the threads were feeling/looking bad.....
