Spud has worked with ETC to up the capabilities to deal with 'hot-rodded' mags. Call him, they are pretty cool.

I work on a car with a two step (blown alky), and while on the two step, a lean-out solenoid is activated, pulling the extra fuel out.

It's a pandora's box to me. I have no interest in leaving on a two step with my blown motor. I would like the rpm switch (shift), the burnout limiter, and the top end limiter however

My prices are the same as if you ordered direct from ETC. If you ask Hank for the "FIE Upgrade", you'll get charged an extra $13 for the additional parts to make the rev limiter stout enough to handle anything. All the ETC units we sell here are made to that spec.

Before I became a dealer for ETC, I ordered a test unit to make sure it worked to my satisfaction. I tested it with an 8.5 amp SuperMag 5 and the magic smoke quickly escaped. That's when we started working together to come up with something that was bulletproof. I don't know how much current the standard version will handle...something significantly less than 8.5 amps. We did the same thing with the Vertex rev limiter (tested good up to 6 amps).

    Thanks guys,
    Spud
