Sprag eliminator In converter

    Anyone ever change from a diode to a solid locked sprag in a torque converter. Can you explain the pros and cons of using one? What characteristics changed?

    I went from a Trans Specialties spraggless to a Spragged chance. I had better MPH with the sprag, slightly less trans temp with the sprag, otherwise my combo didn’t seem to care much either way (2200 lbs dragster, 540 ci 14/71, 6.20’s @ 220).
