sports 'nationals'

    anyone notice they are listing the results on dragracecentral.com under the 'drag news' section, not the nhra news section.

    just like we've said this is a super divisional. back gate driven, book in a couple of fuel cars, and a free pro mod show.

    keep in mind it would cost 64k to bring in a 16 car field in tad/tafc...

    still sucks we're not a part of the sports nationals, but it looks like a glorified division race.

    Will I wouldn't call it a glorified division race,(other than payouts),I think that's being way to kind.. Without TAD/TAFC it doesn't even rate as a divisional in my opinion.
    At least two of our D1 races have pro mods/top sportsman etc. added as an additional show so I guess we can call them super divisionals ??
    But you make a good point about the 64k, only problem with that argument is what does it cost to book in two fuel cars and the pro mods?

    Another problem with the race is they are giving national points out! If you added the gate for about 60 TAD $ TAFC and their crews plus the car and driver entry plus the increased fan count it would probably cost nothing to include the alky classes and have a real race.

    I'd be willing to bet the Pro Mod show is pretty cheap with AMS/TLR picking up most if not all the tab. I dont know which fuel cars they have booked or how many runs, but if they each make 4 runs for mid pack cars probably 20-30k for both.
