Southwestern International Raceway

Did NHRA pull the divisional race that was to be in October. The NHRA site no longer has the race or track listed on their website. I know there was talk about it because a Nitro Jam race was planned for March. I wish the NHRA would stop. These tracks need to make money to survive and NHRA isn't offering any other way for the tracks to make money.

 

The divisional event at SIR was removed from the schedule, and Las Vegas will have two divisional events. The first will be March 25-27, the weekend before their first national event.

Southwestern International is No longer a NHRA santioned track, MAN I HATE RUMORS, and so I have read from another board, and Tuscon did not confirm this " with Me "...maybe the conversation went along the lines of this,..(to certain extent anyhow.)

SIR,..Yea hello Nhra,..we are going to have an event being promoted by such and such, that may or may not be affiliated with the IHRA,..

Glendora,...Like hell you are, unless you give us X amount of the proceeds, or let us run it for all the money it takes in.

SIR,..ARE YOU FLIPPIN STONED,..We are a race track not a prison, we our promoting drag races and you will not tell us we can or can not hold or run a particular type of race
just because you say we cant,..we dont need your four letter words,..BYE BYE..!!!!!!

Now if we could get about twenty more tracks to do the same,..THERE IS NEW LIFE.
