Sourpuss II (OT - non Alcohol)

The recent SEMA thread got me thinking on an old C/MP '55 Chevy Wagon (265-4speed) called Sourpuss II that used to run Div. 1 back in the late '60's early '70s. I've tried unsuccessfully to do research to find out if this car is still out there. Do any of you guys know of this car?

Tom, thanks for the tip on Broadbent. I talked with him this past weekend at Epping, and he told me the old '55 was still in service as a racecar, being run in Connecticut as a bracket racer. According to Bob, it still has the same paint, rearend, and wheels.

It was pretty cool to talk to the same person I talked to 43 years ago as a wide eyed ten year old, peering over his fender while he adjusted valves on the 265.

Just reading this thread I realized who you were Tom. Had I known I would have dropped by to say hello. Beautiful racecar you have there.
