signing off for storm preperations...

sorry for the lack of fresh material last week, hopefully i will get some more updates later in the week.

for the next day or so, i'll probably be off the radar loading up to evacuate here on the texas gulf coast. luckily, there's lap tops and i have my business situated to be mobile. my house is about 10 miles inland from the gulf of mexico here in brazoria county (freeport, lake jackson area). div. 4 tad racers bob and chris holley also live in the area and are likely making preperations.

ita servers are located at tranet, inc. (tim rudy) in cincinatti, ohio, so the site shouldn't be affected from the storm.

i'm going to jack my super comp dragster up on some saw horses in the shop to try to get it as high as possible...we sold the trailer last year, so we don't have any way to load it up.

hopefully we'll be spared from the storm and any flooding, but they are forecasting it to hit brazoria county as a cat 3 or 4 storm.

i'll be evacuating to ennis, tx this weekend, so see yall at the track!

we made a plan to go west to get away from the dirty side of the storm. traffic is an absolute nightmare, but fortunately, i'm out of the metro area, and we know the back roads pretty well.

lee callaway just called me, he left baytown at 10:30, and was just getting past down town at 5:30 this morning. thats normally a 30 minute drive...

me and my dad have been thrashing to finish the roof from the 2 car garage we're adding and tying it into the house. we're running out of time and just packing the essentials, valuables, and fixing to get the hell out in the next hour or two.

if you're watching the news, i live in the lake jackson/freeport area. they're predicting landfall between freeport and baytown now.

i'm heading west to new braunsfels texas to meet up with callaway.
