Looking at a new set of rearshocks for my door car. It is a 2750lb with driver door car, 4 link, powerglide and 1650hp bbc. I now have a set of double adj strange rears. Wot is a good replacement? Tell me if im wrong but they seem to be the most important part of how the car works down the track

I am going to try Afco Big Gun twin tube. But if money is no issue then Penske or the Santhuff.

What's not working for you. Why not let strange Revalve them. I had strange for on my 2400 hp car and went consistantly well for a long time. But sold em and bought santuff and to be quite honest I'm not happy with them. There setup sheet is way off and when I get a min I'm gonna send em back for more valving. Just saying if it's working then why not tweak em , then to buy new and have to start from scratch again.

I would go with the Santhuff shocks. We currently have Penske shocks on the car and they are impressive but so is the price.

Koni Gorrila valved shocks from Jerry Bickle. They are specially valved for JB and he sets them up on the shock dyno for you after you fill out a questionaire about the car. Decent price as well. Talk to Jim Klosterhoff if you can, very helpfull guy

    Cheers

Tried the Bickle gorilla shocks on a 2700 lb blown pm and ended up switching to the Santhuffs. Koni uses valves and Santhuff uses orifices. I had a lot more controlled launch with the Santhuffs.

Keep in mind on Santhuffs the orifice design is indestructible. I bought a used set and wanted the condition checked before I ran them. santhuff said they pretty much don't wear out.As long as they aren't leaking, run them.
