SFI Specs

    I don't know how long it has been in effect but SFI 2.1 is the spec for TAD (6.29 & faster) now, the way I understand it. What is the differences between the 2.1 and the old 2.3L spec, other than they seperated TAD's from TF?

    It was getting too confusing with all the references to T/F only, or TAD only. It was easier to split the spec.
    A perfect example was the wing strut main strut attachment bolt to the rear end mount, being changed in T/F to 7/16" and local tech guys were trying to enforce it in TAD, when in reality it was still 3/8".
    Although the spec also says anything over 1000 sq. in. or multi stage wings must use T/F spec. (7/16") I guess it's still confusing.........
    And of course the new heat treat B.S.
