    ?????????

That would be pretty stupid, which I guess means it is a definate possibility.

Will, can you get Collins to write a letter? I haven't heard anything about this one.

by the way, anyone still needing the fire proof brake line covers. Call Will, I got mine, fit good, easy to install, good service.

    underbody paint

I contacted NHRA tech department via email and today recieved this response to the question of recertifying or reapplying the underbody paint.

    In a message dated 1/20/2010 4:11:15 P.M. Pacific Standard Time, sallen@nhra.com writes:
We will be examining the coating applied in 2009 for proper coating. We currently are not requiring the coating to be reapplied or recertified. If we feel the coating looks to be coated improperly or in need of touch up we will refer you to contact TPR2. At this time we will not be turning anyone away with a 2009 SFI tag unless we feel that the coating was applied improperly or is showing a need to touch up.

so if you are in doubt, there it is, per Sarah Allen at NHRA

    Hi All,

The email from CLint above is correct. After many body events, we convinced NHRA that good sound review of the car undersides is all that is needed. If you are wondering what they will be looking for, you can see the sheet we developed at this link:

    http://www.tpr2.com/Temprotex_Coating_Tech_Sheet.pdf

We now sell touch up quarts to support that initiative. I hope this helps and as always please call with questions. Rick from TPR2
