Which Alky Funny Cars have better 60 foot times on an average. I keep hearing different stories and I can't find the breakdowns on the internet to prove my point with my buddy. He claims Roots blower cars are way better then Screw Blower cars.

    who cares

Hey I've fixed a lot of junk from outstanding 60 foot times, the junk part came at 65-80 feet.
Pay more attention to the 330', and always remember the finishline is another 1260' away!

Not much to add but the Screw Blower is the way to go. We went from retro to a whipple to a PSID. With us the screw blower has picked or sixty foot times up. So I think the old saying is true get screwed or be screwed!!!!!!:D

    60 foot times

I Would Have To Think The Horsepower Differences In Roots Vs Screw The Only Reason A Roots Car Could Possibly 60 Ft Even Close To A Screw Would Be They Are Slipping The Clutch Or Pulling The Motor So Hard Down At The Hit With The One Two Gear Change As Not To Strike The Tires And As Bob Says The 330 Between The Two There Is Probaly No Comparison. One Nice Feature Of The Whipple Is It Is About 30 Pounds Lighter But Mudwrench Put The Whipple At About 90 Over And Hang On For That 200 Feet You Will Never Notice That 30 Pounds Until You Are Sliding Towards The Hay Bales Trying To Get Stopped.:) .
