Screw Blower for Rob Atchison??

    I noticed that also in the pics , I had heard they had one on order . Maybe he knows something the other IHRA racers don't or he simply saw the writing on the wall . IHRA needs to let the screw blowers in if they are going to keep the afc class .

    We have seen him at a few D-1 races gathering up some grade points with the roots, Not that we need any more championship teams over here but nice people and killer car. I would imagine they will pick right up with the screw be right there with the rest of the field.

    writing on the wall

    sadly the writing is on the wall for the ihra guys unless the mystery sponsor deal comes through. i hear from my sources that the proposed sponsor wants a 16 car field and ihra wants the 8.

    looking at those pictures....rob must have an awfully high crankshaft centerline....never seen a blower poke through a monte carlo like that...

    A guy I was sitting with in the stands said that this was the first time he had run a screw so I take it he was, Did not really look for it in the pits just figured they all had them I know he runs IHRA though and they are roots guys.
